Montclair is the Austin, Texas-based, independent folk-rock project resulting from four friends’ expression of joy and curiosity for life. Montclair's sound explores themes of self-discovery and emerging adulthood, from the beloved surf rock groove of “Pastel Lies” to the forlorn folk guitar wave in “Passing Through”. Their debut album, “Heart is Alive!” explores their musical potential and emotional range, both on full display in the first two singles, the titular and upbeat “Heart is Alive!” and the enigmatic rock powerhouse “Coming to the Rescue”.
