      "details": "Valerie Steinberg is a Los Angeles-based film producer whose work spans SXSW, Sundance, Venice, Cannes, Tribeca, Aspen, Palm Springs, and beyond. She has produced and executive produced award-winning films with partners including A24, Hulu, HBO, Criterion Channel, and Disney. Her feature credits include Karmalink (Venice Critics’ Week Opening Night), and as Executive Producer War Pony (Cannes Caméra d’Or winner, SXSW 2023), Queens of the Dead (Tribeca 2025), Esta Isla (Tribeca 2025), and Silver Star (Deauville 2024).\n\nValerie's work has screened many times at SXSW includes The Sentry (2025), Neo-Dome (2024), War Pony (2023), Hair Wolf (2018), Blocks (2020), Everybody Dies! (as part of Collective:Unconscious, 2016), and Fry Day (2017, Poster Design Award winner). Her shorts have also premiered at Sundance, Tribeca, and Clermont-Ferrand and have been distributed on Criterion Channel, Hulu, and HBO.\n\nValerie is a committed mentor and advocate for emerging filmmakers. In addition to having served as SXSW mentor every year since 2019, she leads annual pitch workshops for Cannes Cinéma de Demain, mentors for Soho House’s film programs, and speaks regularly at festivals and institutions including Yale, Columbia, NYU, Palm Springs ShortFest, and Film Independent. She has juried for Aspen Shortsfest, Palm Springs ShortFest, Sun Valley Film Festival, and SeriesFest.\n\nWith experience across development, packaging, financing, physical production, international co-production, and festival strategy, she endeavors to offer filmmakers actionable guidance to strengthen their projects creatively and strategically.",
