      "details": "PJ Raval is a queer, first generation Filipinx American award winning filmmaker whose work examines social justice issues through the lived experiences and stories of queer and marginalized communities. Named one of Out Magazine's 'OUT 100′, and POV / American Documentary 2024 Creative Visionary, PJ's body of film work has been distributed widely internationally and has appeared on platforms including PBS, Netflix, Discovery and Showtime.\n\nPJ is a co-founder of the NEA supported queer arts organization OUTsider and he serves on the steering committee of the Asian American Documentary Network (A-Doc) where he is the co-creator and co-lead of the network’s Impact Initiative. He is a Guggenheim Fellow, a Soros Justice Fellow, a USA Artist Fellow, and a Producers Guild of America member, and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences where he also serves as the Chair of the Asian Affinity Group. \n",
