      "details": "As Chief Operating Officer for Austin PBS, Sara is responsible for developing and executing the internal operational strategies across the production, marketing and engineering teams. She is also responsible for overseeing acquisition and programming across linear and digital channels, and is the executive in charge for Austin City Limits, the longest running music show in television history. In her tenure, she helped turn the station into Texas' largest producing PBS station and a major contributor to the public media catalog ensuring that on any given day, multiple times a day, viewers at public media stations all across the United States watch programs produced and presented by Austin PBS. \r\r\r\rMultidisciplinary projects created by Sara include BBQ with Franklin, the first TV series to be distributed by PBS that originally began on YouTube, and Considering Matthew Shepard, a national public television special and community engagement campaign that examines how art can address issues of acceptance, compassion and bullying. Recently she oversaw the launch of the station’s first weekly news and feature journalism show Austin InSight.\r\r\r\rSara is an active volunteer and is Chair of the Board of Directors, CLOVES Syndrome Community. Before coming to public media, she worked in broadcast news and received her journalism degree from the University of Georgia.",
