      "details": "Bella Starbuck Mascheroni is a business development and strategy leader with over a decade of experience in the global games industry, currently working as Director of Business Development at Disney within the Disney Games group. She also advises on independent immersive entertainment projects. Her over 10 year career spans major tech and entertainment companies including CAA, Amazon, Microsoft, and Unity, as well as emerging startups at the forefront of immersive media, VR/MR, and music. Bella is known for driving high-impact partnerships, launching innovative business models, and building cross-functional alignment across product, marketing, and creative teams.\r\rAt Amazon Prime Gaming, she led global content acquisition and strategic partnerships with publishers such as Activision Blizzard, Bungie, EA, Digital Extremes, among others, in pioneering new engagement models and live service integrations. While at Microsoft Game Studios, she worked on first-party and ID@Xbox business development by fielding game pitches, negotiating publishing deals, and scouting for indie games for Xbox. She also worked on the launch Xbox Game Pass and Windows Mixed Reality platforms. At Unity, she worked across gaming, entertainment, fashion and music clients to develop cross-sector programs in the metaverse space.\r\rBella’s work is rooted in her undergrad studies of gaming and consumer psychology and passion for storytelling and creative development. She has a deep understanding of both the creative and commercial sides of game development, with a particular focus on the evolving relationship between games and traditional entertainment. While working closely with Disney IP licensing into games, she advises on transmedia storytelling initiatives that bridge film, TV, and games. She is constantly curious about expanding how audiences engage with IP across platforms. Her ability to translate between the creative language of storytellers and the strategic frameworks of tech and business teams has made her a key player in advancing cross-industry innovation.\r\rA frequent attendee of SXSW, GDC, DICE and other global industry events, Bella brings a mentorship style grounded in demystifying the business side of the game industry, corporate strategy, long-term vision and best practices from some of the most powerful companies in the entertainment & game industry.
