Patches has\rspent over half of her career in both clinical and operational leadership roles ranging from\rinpatient care delivery, clinical informatics & analytics, patient logistics, ambulatory and\rdiagnostic scheduling, clinical surveillance, and virtual nursing services inside a large,\rmulti-state, integrated delivery organization.\rIn healthcare services, she served as the EVP of Clinical Solutions providing clinical strategy\rdevelopment to a healthcare engagement organization who served health plans, providers, and\remployers from all 50 states and the Philippines.\rPatches is currently consulting as a Clinical & Business Advisor to a health technology\rcompanies (mid-size & start up) as well as health systems focusing in on clinical and operational\routcomes, workflow enhancements, workforce management & leadership techniques for\rchange management and go-to-market strategy.\rAdditionally, Patches is a co-founder in a data security company with potential to make\rorganizations and subsequently consumers, more protected from breaches in their data.\rWhen she started her own consultancy, she began working with organizations whose mission\rwas grounded in access, quality care and a commitment to building a culture of excellence. The\rvastness of Patches’ experience affords her the ability to lead on multiple fronts, communicate\rwith all roles and role types and find and foster the best in individuals.\rPatches has spoken nationally on topics like AI, cybersecurity, virtual nursing, command center\rapproaches to care, virtual/remote team dynamics, communications and the impact to clinical\rsafety. Her influence has reached academia through her participation in a virtual nursing\rcertification and continued virtual nursing practice standards. Additionally, she’s participated in\rpodcasts covering topics like AI, drug diversion, safety & high reliability principles and recently\rbrought her body of qualitative research on Being a Professional in Transition to a webinar.\rPatches has deep expertise in organizational adoption of new ways of working, technology,\rprocess automation and disruption of work through innovation. She has experienced the\rhealthcare system as a registered nurse, a leader, a patient, an advocate for aging family\rmembers and is continually inspired to keep “fixing” a system that is cumbersome for those we\rlove.\rPatches received her Bachelors in Psychology from Louisiana State University, her Bachelors in Nursing from LSU Health Sciences Center and her MBA from University of Texas at Tyler.",
