      "details": "Joe Litzinger is a Primetime Emmy-nominated TV producer and an award-winning documentary filmmaker. He served as the Executive Producer on the nine-time Emmy-winning (19-time nominated) series Life Below Zero and its three spinoffs. Joe is currently the governor of the unscripted peer group for the Television Academy, where he sits on a variety of committees. He has worked with major networks and studios, including Fox, Disney, Nat Geo, MTG, Discovery, and Netflix, as well as a variety of production companies. His reputation in the industry is one of respect, and his role at the Television Academy puts him in the room with all the major players in the unscripted space. In addition to producing over a thousand hours of nonfiction television programming, he co-directed and executive produced two multiple award-winning feature-length documentary films under his production company banner, Interesting Human Media. Joe also founded the Ladyface Mountain Documentary Film Festival, which showcases documentary films and fosters the growth of the local arts community. He has been a speaker on many industry panels moderated by the International Documentary Association, Deadline, Variety, and KCRW, and serves as a documentary mentor at South by Southwest. Joe lives in Agoura Hills, California, where he nurtures his other passions: his family and the outdoors.",
