Summary

What if the real world had hidden story portals waiting to be found? This panel explores an ongoing collaboration between Meow Wolf and Niantic that uses AR, geolocation, and immersive storytelling to transform physical places into layered, interactive experiences. From sidewalks to city parks, spaces become stages for narrative discovery, inviting people to move, play, and connect in new ways. Dennis Hwang (Niantic), Vince Kadlubek (Meow Wolf), and Scott Stein (CNET) join moderator Kati Murphy to share what happens when imagination meets infrastructure—and the streets start telling stories.
