Summary

The CDC calls antimicrobial resistance(AMR)-when bacteria, viruses, fungi, and more stop responding to medicine-the next global epidemic, estimating 10M deaths/yr from AMR by 2050. Infectious disease expert Dr. Antoine Abou Fayad's new findings show that global conflict is greatly increasing the spread. Heavy metals left in soil by munitions are causing bacteria to become resistant in additional ways, and this version of AMR spreads easily via animals, humans, & even inorganic products. So, you may be far from Gaza or the Ukraine, but those conflicts are still very dangerous to your health.
