The Grammar of Good Design: What Really Makes It Sell
Summary
Most would agree that better design = better sales for brands. But what makes one design better than another? Tastefulness? Trendiness? Technique? This talk argues that the best designs are those that communicate effectively, because design is as much a language as it is a craft. So, like writers, designers must learn the fundamental grammar of this visual language if we want to truly connect with our audience. By revealing the hidden rules and patterns behind the language of design, this talk will help both designers and marketers create design that will sell.
