Sex in Outer Space & the Researchers Making It Happen (Soon)
Summary
Building on a 2023 SXSW presentation, this panel will be a light-hearted but highly educational conversation on the current science focusing on past, present, and future questions around human sexual activity in outer space environments - whether on private commercial space stations of the near future, or settlements on the surface of the Moon, Mars, and beyond. Panelists will include some of the world's leading recognized experts in this fascinating and highly specific research field, covering everything from space medicine and biological reproduction to psychosocial issues and crew dynamics.
