Summary

We go to the same cafés, follow the same glossy lists, and sit in front of the same Netflix queue. Increasingly, we are beginning to think in similar ways, shaped in part by AI tools. Many of us feel something is off, yet struggle to name it. It is not loud or dramatic. It is an ambient condition we live inside. Gulay Ozkan calls this sameness. In this session, she introduces her book The Age of Sameness: A Continuous Experience Shaped by Human Creativity, traces how this condition has taken shape, and asks a deeper question: whether the conditions for human creativity still exist.
