She has spoken at platforms including YouTube, Games for Change, Stanford University, and the United Nations.",

      "details": "Bio Niki Smit.\nNiki Smit is a multi-award winning Director of interactive and experiential art. \nHe is co-founder / creative Director at Monobanda, where he explores and expands the boundaries of play, embodied interaction and emergent storytelling. Additionally, he is director at ExploreDEEP, where he creates meditative, breath controlled VR experiences that are employed in scientific research and clinical therapy  \n\nHis work focuses heavily on researching and developing new forms of playful behaviour. His passion lies in creating projects that connect the human body, physical space and the virtual world in surprising ways, creating meaningful embodied experiences that fill the space between art, science and mental wellbeing.\n  \nHe has collaborated and lectured with numerous international organizations, universities, research groups and museums.Smit’s most notable awards include the Dutch Directors Guild award for Best Digital Storytelling 2020, and Special Jury Award SXSW 2024 for Soul Paint. His projects have drawn international attention, with features in leading outlets like Forbes Washington Post, VICE, Hollywood Reporter, the Guardian Polygon, Engadget and more. His project DEEP is featured in a dedicated chapter of the book Checkpoint: How video games power up minds, kick ass and save lives , and has been the focus of nine published scientific studies.",
